Linda is co author of the pending for Dummies book on Expression web.
She was a very early visitor to our site. She also very kindly linked us on her site. (probably the first to do so) Obviously, i am delighted to pass on the e-mail.

Here’s your chance to contribute to the forthcoming Microsoft Expression Web for Dummies book (find out about the software at http://www.microsoft.com/We’re looking for a few tips from in-the-trenches Web designers, regardless of what Web design software you use, to include in the infamous Dummies ‘Part of Tens’ section.
Here’s what we need and how you can help:
1) Tell us about your favorite Web design resources: books, web sites, physical tools, and anything else (lucky rabbit’s foot) that you always reach for or click to when designing and building Web sites. We’re looking for a top ten list, though you can include fewer or more than 10.
2) Tell us about your design process: What do you do before you start building a new site that makes it go together faster, work better, and look fabulous. Once again, we’re looking for 10, though submit as many or as few tips as you want.
3) Tell us about your ‘bringing-an-old-site-up-to-current-standards’
process. What steps do you follow to make an old quirky, creaky site validate and shine by today’s Web standards. These can be any combination of under-the-hood and on-the-page tips. Again, we’re looking for 10 tips.

I have been asked a number of times, how to use RSS and Expression Web.
RSS means, really simple syndication and is a method of displaying XML feeds. Usually and XML feed will be viewed via a feed reader.
Expression Web allows you to create pages based on XML data.
I have written a tutorial explaining how this is done. The tutorial is in both written and flash formats.
I could not find any details on actually doing what has been done here so if you know of an informative source, please let me know.
