Expression web drop-down menu

At long last, here is a simple method that allows you to add drop-down menu’s to your expression web web site.

This tutorial shows you how you can drag and drop your files to make super fast drop down menu’s. It also includes all the files you need and a flash based narrated tutorial explaining each step.

The menu structure is horizontal. I may get around to doing a vertical example but to be honest, you should be able to pick it up and implement your own very quickly.

I hope you have fun with this. The only restriction is to have a link back to our site.

Use Xml Data in expression web

I have created an off the cuff tutorial based on creating and using xml data in expression web.

Its a simple technique but you must have asp.netv2 available from your host. If your host does provide asp.netv2 then you are on the way to producing dynamic web sites.

The tutorial explains how to create a small access database which is then exported to expression web as an xml file. Once the xml data is in your expression web web site, you can format it, filter it and add some conditional formatting all simply by pointing and clicking.

Very simple stuff that allows you to make up quite complex page displays.
